The Author

Elizabeth Morales is a poet living in TX, writing from the space between pain and becoming. She wrote What Blooms After Storms in the aftermath of a year marked by chronic illness, surgery, displacement, heartbreak, and personal transformation. Navigating life with Chiari Malformation, she writes toward softness, resilience, and the quiet power of blooming in the wake of chaos. She now lives with a measured kind of strength and a life permanently altered. This is her debut chapbook.
